A wedding photo has gone viral after the bride and groom shared the hilarious snap on social media.
While most brides do everything in their power to make sure that their wedding day goes as planned, one bride named Kristen was in for a surprise after sending out an invite to complete strangers.
The story, which supposedly took place in Hackney, began unraveling after the bride-to-be sent out a photoshoot invite to a stranger.
“BBQ and wedding photos this Saturday, June 14th from 4-7. Our address is *****. Be there!” the text read. After the person on the other side of the line responded by asking who was messaging him, the bride added: “Roger’s (soon to be wife) Kristen!”
“You have the wrong number but me and my boys will be there,” the recipient of the invite replied only for the bride to retract her invitation saying it was not meant for strangers.
Despite Kristen apologizing for the invite and saying strangers were not welcome, the guy replied by saying: “We still coming.”
Though the text may have sounded like a joke at first, Kristen and her groom were in for a big surprise when a group of casually dressed young men showed up for the wedding photoshoot.
In one of the pictures, the group is seen posing next to bridesmaids and groomsmen with one man opening his shirt and showing off his bare chest.
The photo quickly went viral on social media where people couldn’t help but find the entire incident hilarious. As some have suggested, however, it is possible that the texts and the photoshoot were staged for publicity.
Whether a hoax or a real story, we can all agree it is important to check the phone number twice before sending out any invites!
