They wrapped the koalas into the blanket and sent them to the vet for immediate medical attention. The heartwarming video of the firefighter has gone viral on all social media.
Just after rescuing the scared koalas and wrapping them in the blanket, the firefighters gave them water to drink just to calm down their senses. They kept them in their hands so that they are not scared.
According to reports, both the koalas have sustained minor injuries and are recovering fast. Everyone who has seen the video has been appreciating the kindness of the firefighters.
They have proven that not just humans but the lives of animals are also precious. They could have ignored the koalas and went on to their work to blaze out the week-long bushfire. But, they went forward and saved both the lives.
It is quite rare that humans pay attention to other species on the planet. We often tend to forget that we are not the only living being on the earth. There are several other living beings who co-exist with us, and we should be aware of that.
