The NSW Rural Fire Service was working near Tahmoor when firefighters stumbled across the field of marijuana plants. They took photos with the plants and shared them online.

Their discovery was made near where two other firemen died when their fire truck crashed.

It is feared around 40 homes were lost in Bargo, Balmoral, Buxton, and surrounding areas as the strong winds and fire tore through the Wollondilly Shire.
