Helena Fire Department’s crew sang a heart-touching hymn after surviving California wildfire.
The firefighters sang Samoan Christian’s hymn “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” titled Fa’afetai I le Atua, “Which translates to thanks to God.
In the video, the firemen can be seen walking down the mountain singing the heart-melting hymn.
The video was later posted online and went viral after it was posted. The video has been viewed more than 1 million times and received thousands of likes and comments.
One user commented on the video: ‘This is so amazing! The way they harmonize. God speed to them all and all who were affected by this horrific tragedy…’ while another user added: ‘Amazing Boyz. O tou ma-ma na. I can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit is with you by listening to the song. E leai se mea e faigata ile Atua o lo’o tatou tapua’i iai. Amen’.
The third one wrote: ‘So much power in this praising song! God Bless you ALL!’ while another said: ‘Proud of this guys, good Representing our island boys…’.

Firefighters risk their own lives to save others and we are so grateful to them. These firefighters decided to sing the touching hymn to give each other strength.
Another video shows an off-duty firefighter saving a man who got stuck inside a burning house.
People praised the firefighter after the video was shared online. One user wrote: ‘Thank god for the off duty firefighter who potentially saved that man’s life off the clock’ while another said: ‘S/O to the firefighters across the world for their brave sacrifices. Heroes.’
