Recently, Coronavirus has been showing its impact all over the world, and it is definitely just as threatening as an Ebola virus was.
Coronavirus is spreading fast and seems deadly than the latter. It started in Wuhan, China, and even though this city has been completely isolated from the rest of the world, it has spread to different countries.
Recently, the first person has been confirmed to have Coronavirus in London, and he took an Uber to the hospital walked into the department right away.
The woman admitted herself to Lewisham Hospital this Sunday, and immediately, a face mask was given to her, and she was taken to the particular area for the virus test.
The chief executive of the hospital and trust said that the result has been positive, and the patient is taken to the NHS center at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospital.
The staff who have come into contact with the patient have also been check doubt, including the Uber driver.
The company has suspended the account of the driver after discussion with the Public Health England (PHE).
Two other staff from the hospital have also been taken into isolation at their home since they have come to contact the woman. The woman seems to be of a Chinese national.
She flew to London from China. As of now, nine people from the United Kingdom are under treatment for the COVID-19, which is caused by a coronavirus.
On that matter, the Uber spokeswoman said that they receive a request from the Public Health England regarding the information of a passenger who currently has Coronavirus.
The team has a dedicated and online portal for the public health authorities to keep in touch with Uber for data about riders and drivers. The team is ready to take action, as suggested by the government.
