For years and years, we have heard a lot about how scientists have been trying to go to Mars and find out if there is a possibility of life.
Well, we do not know if there is a possibility of life or not, but what we are getting to know now is that men are not always going to be the great people world talks about.
Well, a man is not going to be the first human to ever land his foot on Mars as head of NASA said it is more likely to be a woman who is going to do it.
In the latest episode of Science Friday, the guest was Jim Bridenstine and it is then when he suggested that it is more likely to be a woman who is going to go to Mars. Although there has been no announcement of the specific names yet NASA is keeping woman upfront for this coming project.
Inspired by the woman included missions, a user on twitter asked him if a woman is going to be there in the next trip to the moon and he replied “absolutely.” In fact, he said that the next person who is going to put their feet down on the surface of the Moon is going to be a woman. he said, “These are great day.”
NASA is also going to have the first ever all-women spacewalk. Anne McClain and Christina Koch have already been selected for the mission that is going to take place at the end of this month. According to NASA, the walk will be conducted for about 7 hours.
Both McClain and Koch both are from the astronaut class of 2013 where almost 50% of the students were women.
Bridenstine said, “NASA is committed to making sure we have a broad and diverse set of talent and we’re looking forward to the first woman on the moon.”
Well, it looks like space has a brighter future now that it has the touch of women too.
