A tourist got the shock of her life when she saw a fish with a ‘human face’ on its head!
The video filmed in Miao Village in Kunming, China shows the fish swimming up towards land with markings on its head that look exactly like a face – eyes and nose above its lips.
Even though people can see that it is only some bizarre spots on its head, the tourist who recorded the fish can be heard saying: “The fish has turned into a fairy.”
Fairy?
The video quickly went viral but not everyone agreed that the fish transformed into a fairy. One internet user commented: “This is scary!” While another asked: “Who dares eat it?”
It is believed that the creature is a koi carp, which have similar markings to those visible in the video.
Earlier this year, a woman in was strolling around St. Simon’s Island in Georgia, US when she saw a creepy toothy fish.
31-year-old Maleah Burrows said at that time: “We were just walking along the beach and it was washed up far from the shoreline and caught our attention.
“I originally just thought it was a plain old fish – nothing exciting, but I still wanted to show my three-year-old. Then as we got closer, I saw all the teeth and I was shocked because I’d never seen anything like it!”
Describing the scary-looking fish, she added: “It had an entire mouthful of teeth – they weren’t pointy but blunt like an animal’s. Behind its first row of teeth were buds that filled up its entire mouth.
“I’m not sure what they were, but I’m guessing more teeth.”
According to reports, the fish is a sheepshead and can grow up to 75cm long. These creatures have a full set of teeth which they use for crushing crabs, mussels, and shrimps.
