Five Guys is following the suit of Burger King and KFC and other restaurant chains by opening its doors in selected locations across the UK.
They will be opening only for delivery and take-away service.
The popular chain is planning to add several more locations to their 13 sites that continued to stay open during the coronavirus pandemic.
So people can use the Click and Collect feature, to order from Five Guys and have food delivered straight to their doorsteps.
The Five Guys App is available for download on Apple and Android devices, and customers can also order from their website. The restaurant has also partnered with Deliveroo; so people who already have this app can order Five Guys meal from it.
Additionally, people can use Click and Collect service and head to the restaurant to collect their meals. The restaurant allows people to collect food without breaking the social distancing norms laid out by the government.
When people order online from this restaurant, then have to pay in advance, and the delivery staff at the restaurant will explain the rules that customers have to comply with.
In order to make the people’s experience as comfortable as possible, Five Guys have made the full menu available for the customers. So people can choose the meal that they love from the place and enjoy it at the safety and convenience of the home.
There are around 250,000 possible burger combinations and 1000 possible customizable milkshake choices.
The CEO of Five Guys, John Eckert, said that they had adopted a new phased approach to re-open their stores while adhering to the government’s advice, and making sure the safety of the employees and customers.
Until now the chain only opened a limited number of stores and was available for Deliveroo and Click and Collect. John said he is quite proud of the staff and how they supported hospital and frontline workers all across the UK.
As of now, the store has been opened in locations including Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird and Fountain Park, St Paul’s and Baker Street, Guildford, Liverpool Queen Square, and Plymouth.
