Sheila Fredrick is a flight attendant, and in 2011, she was traveling with Alaska Airlines when something stingy caught up her attention.
It was a San Francisco bound flight from Seattle. She was serving the passengers when she noticed a young girl believed to be 14-15 years old seated by the window and with a face that says – ‘I have seen hell.’
Apparently, the young girl was traveling with an adult, a well-dressed man. He was an elderly and this raised eyebrows for Sheila. She sensed something odd about those two passengers.
Sheila said that while the man looked well-dressed and groomed, the girl looked completely messy. When Sheila approached the little girl and asked her some questions, the old man responded to the questions, but the girl didn’t even look at her.
Sheila sensed something was not right. Sheila had no choice but ask the little girl to go to the bathroom because she needed to. Apparently, Sheila had left a note in the bathroom for her asking if she needed help.
To her surprise, the girl replied to the note by writing that she is in dire need of help. Sheila immediately contacted the pilot who then alerted the police. By the time the flight landed, the police were waiting for the old man at the terminal.
It turned out that the girl was saved from human trafficking. Sheila said that she has been a flight attendant for her life and has never experienced anything like this before.
The girl from the plane was saved and is apparently attending college.
