Deputy Jeremie Nix who is from Marion County Sheriff’s Office was going home when he saw a woman standing at an intersection with her unresponsive three-month-old baby.
The woman was in a panic mode and didn’t know what to do with her unresponsive baby who she was holding in her arms.
Nechole Crowell, the mother of the three-month-old baby, said she was in such a panic mode as the baby wasn’t breathing at all and that made me cry because I was scared.
The police department posted the video where the deputy office is seen rushing out of the car and holding the baby to place him on the ground.
The police officer made several different attempts to save the child’s life, but couldn’t see any improvement happening in his health.
After trying different methods, the deputy immediately took the child in his patrol car to the Ocala Regional Medical Center for the required treatment.
After reaching the medical center, the deputy delivered the child to the medical section, who immediately started the treatment.
The child regained his consciousness after the treatment and is now slowly recovering. The mother thinks that Deputy Nix is the hero, and the doctors also claim that it was because of the deputy’s quick actions that the child is alive today.
Nechole said that she wants the world to know how fantastic deputy Nix is and he is a hero in her book.
She also said that she is sure when baby Kingston will be old enough to hear the story, then he will also consider him no less than a hero. It is so great that the deputy’s quick actions saved the baby’s life.
