A lady asked the vendor if a certain style of flower arrangements were possible. The vendor named ‘Mimi’ replied happily with how much each would cost, $18 per foot.
The bride was unhappy with the estimation. So ‘Mimi’ gave a breakdown of the cost. According to Mimi, to make one foot long, it would take her three and a half hours. And so to make 18 of them, for 18 tables the the bride mentioned, it would take 80 hours altogether.
On a side note, Los Angeles wedding organizer Tessa Lyn Brand of Tessa Lyn Events disclosed to Bride magazine she has seen wedding flowers spending plans as high as $75,000. She suggested using 10 per cent of your wedding costs on flowers as a guideline.
Before long it was obvious to Mimi that the bride was not expecting to pay for the labor cost. The bride just wanted to pay for the cost of the wholesale flowers because because she is spending ‘too much’ – $10,000 on her wedding already.

As you can imagine 80 hours of work for no compensation isn’t something that any normal individual would consent to, so the flower vendor amiably declined the offer.
