Well according to new research, fresh flowers and plants are more effective than just colors in a room on mental health as well as physical health.

American Society for Horticulture Science conducted a study in 2008 where they measured the effects of plants and flowers after placing them in the hospital room.

90 patients were selected for the study. Some of them received flowers and plants and those were kept in their room while others did not. All of the patients were suffering from the same problem.

Well, as the result found it out, patients who had the plants and flowers in their room received benefits on lower heart rates, lower blood pressure, and lower ratings of pain, as well as fatigue and anxiety in comparison to the patients who lacked flora in their room.

These patients also had a higher satisfaction level and more positive feelings in comparison.

Findings of the study stated that it is an inexpensive way to treat a patient in the hospital room in a better way. It not only makes the room look better and create positive vibes in the room but it also compliments the recovery of the patient.
