President Joe Biden is being labeled as one of the most forgetful leaders of the country after a recent foot in the mouth incident during a press conference.
On Monday morning, the US President incorrectly termed his recent tour of Europe as a trip that comprised of a duration that was considerably longer than the reality.
To be more specific, the President referred to his 8-day visit as a 13-day journey, but then started mumbling about how he just can’t remember exactly how many days he went away for.
The virtual speech was conducted for the US Democratic Party where Biden spoke about how his tour lasted for a mere 13 days. However, in reality, it was for only 8 days, and he therefore mistakenly added five more days, concluding it as a 13-day visit.
“By the way, I just got back from Europe. I think I was there for 13 days, I guess- actually I forget how many days it really was,” the President explained with a smirk.
But that was definitely not the only incorrect detail reported about the recent Europe trip of the President. Biden also spoke about how he met with the G-7 countries for five days, but in reality, he had only spent 3 days as the G-7 summit lasted for just 3 days in Cornwall in the UK.
Towards the end of his short speech, Biden also claimed how he would not prefer to go into all of the details as it just might be a little too boring for all those listening to him.
However, the US President did not fail to mention how Donald Trump had done significant damage to the country on an international stage, calling it incredible in terms of magnitude.
This is certainly not the first time that the President has failed to remember important details relating to his visits. In the same way, many critics were quick to add how the President needs to be reminded of his duties, time and time again as they feel he tends to forget a lot.
