Mike Tyson, the boxing legend in a recent Instagram Live said that he regrets owning tigers as his pet.
He admitted that it was a foolish decision and they would kill you by accident.
The former heavyweight champion becomes synonymous with wild cats after he brought them home and was seen playing and fighting with the predators. However, now when he reflects his action, he admits that it was wrong of him to do so.
On an Instagram Live session, Mike spoke to rapper Fat Joe where he revealed how naive he was to think that he can control the tigers, considering that they could kill him with just one hit.
He added that he was foolish and there is no way to 100% domesticate these wild cats. Even if they do not intend to, they can kill you by accident, especially when you are playing rough with them, or you are punching them back.
Tigers get hyped up very easily; one solid hit and you could be dead.
Mike Tyson further added that he is happy that he knows better now and admitted that he should never have brought the tigers home and his belief on domesticating them was wrong
Iron Mike said that he thought about owning a tiger when he was in prison during the 1990s. He said one of his mates suggested that it would look cool along sitting in his Ferrari.
Mike added that he was talking to one of his friends from whom he bought the cars, and he said that his one friend owed him money.
The guy said that if Mike’s friend did not pay, he takes some of the cars and trade them for animals.
When he asked what kind of animals, the guy said that all kinds of animals including tigers and lions too, which would look cool with his Ferrari.
