Lexi Brown was just twelve years old when she was diagnosed with cancer.
She had to spend more and more time at the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA in California to get her treatment for cancer. Her hospital room had an incredible view, with a massive UCLA frat house right in the center. One day Lexi and her mother decided to put a sign in the window of their hospital room requesting a free pizza delivery. The two knew there was little chance anyone would ever see it, but they thought it would be a lighthearted joke anyways.
Eventually the group of frat brothers at that house heard about the sign.
When they heard about it, they knew they needed to do something special for little Lexi, so they immediately went to visit her in the hospital.
When they arrived, they had pizzas with them, but they also brought along a bouquet of roses and even a guitar.Even though they were a bunch of 20 year old frat guys, they had hearts of gold when it came to helping out Lexi.
They all decided to come together and buy her a bouquet of roses, and even sing her a few songs to make her feel all better. Lexi’s mother, Lisa, was absolutely moved by their kindness. These frat brothers weren’t satisfied with just visiting with Lexi once, either.
Not only did they continue to return for several more visits, playing games with her, giving her a stuffed animal friend, or just to listen to Lexi talk about her life. They also had arranged for other groups from their college to come as well, like the football team and the women’s tennis players.
Lexi was quickly becoming a star at UCLA. All because some frat brothers had it in their hearts to help out a little girl who was battling with cancer. It seemed like the frat brothers had gone all out to help support Lexi during her battle with cancer, but one night when Lexi and her mother looked out the hospital window at the gorgeous view of the surrounding area, they saw the frat house… This time it was absolutely stunning.
The SAE frat brothers had done something even more incredible…
