Beautiful Moment As Girl Asked Her Best Friend With Down Syndrome to Prom


For the entire time we are growing up, we keep thinking of getting out of school.

First, it is the preparatory school, which was fun but yes it was a school.

Then came junior school and we waited to get out of it. then came middle school and we just wanted to leave as soon as it is over, then came high school and rather than getting out of it, we always wanted to reach to the day of prom straight.

Prom is the one night every student thinks and dreams of their entire school life and it will be completely unfair if one does not get to go to the prom or they do not have a prom so good they always thought it to be like.

To make sure her best friend from the age of 4 has the best prom ever she decided to give him the best promposal.

Rachel Newberry and Ben Robinson both have been best friends since they were 4 and now they are both seniors at is Mountain Heritage High School in Burnsville.

Ben Robinson suffers from Down’s syndrome and Rachel wanted to make Ben happy without letting him suffer because of his condition.

The video shared by her shows how Ben walked into an auditorium where he received flowers at every step until he reached the stage.

As soon as he was right in front of the stage, Rachel along with a few other girls came in front and she asked him the golden question “Will you go to the prom with me?”

The best part? Ben said yes.

The moment was very beautiful and Ben could not keep his sentiments hidden inside and broke down in a little sob as he was touched by the gesture Rachel had made for him.
