Jennifer Aniston has managed to bring back the cast of Friends 25 years after the first season of the popular comedy series aired.
All six friends were seen beaming in the picture Jennifer Aniston shared in her first-ever Instagram post.
In fact, the star’s surprise post with a picture of Friends’ cast and her sudden appearance on social media caused so much traffic that the platform crashed.
In her photo, Jennifer is seen smiling from ear to ear along with her former co-stars Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, and Matt LeBlanc.
“And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM,” the 50-year-old actress wrote in her first-ever Instagram snap.
Aniston was quickly welcomed to the platform not only by thousands of her fans but also by the likes of Rachel Zoe and Jenna Dewan.
Meanwhile, Jennifer quickly followed people she knows, including her ex-boyfriend Justin Theroux whom she parted ways with after saying she was too busy to worry about relationships and claimed she was happy being single.
Joining Jennifer in celebrating 25 years since the six friends started working together on the all-time favorite series, David wrote: “Celebrating a Thursday night 25 years ago… THANK YOU to all the fans out there!! We couldn’t have done it without you…
“Big love to the other five #friends #jenniferaniston #courteneycox #lisakudrow #mattleblanc #matthewperry #FRIENDS25 #STILLTHEREFORYOU”
As for Jennifer Aniston, she previously teased her fans and the media about her lack of presence on social media and said she might be joining soon.
What no one expected, however, was that her debut appearance along with the Friends’ reunion snap would cause the platform to crash.
Speaking of the Friends’ reunion, Jen said: “Schwimmer was in town and we all happened to have a window of time so we all got together. We laughed so hard.”
