Not knowing what was lurking under her hoodie, a hungover girl sent a selfie to her friends and they spotted the potentially dangerous intruder.
Olivia Nunn wanted to show the toll a boozy night out had taken on her looks to her friends so she clicked a selfie and shared it to her friends’ group chat.
Upon receiving the photo, her friends were horrified to notice that Olivia was not the only one caught on the camera in that picture and alerted the unsuspecting girl of the unwanted company she had.
The one sharing the cozy hoodie with Olivia was a big black spider, clinging to a corner of her hoodie just an inch from her eye.
Olivia’s friends were totally consumed by fear after seeing the horrifying photo and took to Twitter to share their friend’s unusual experience.
Posting the photo on Twitter, Olivia’s friend Grace Graham wrote: “Nearly 24 hours later I still cannot get over Olivia sending a hungover selfie in the group chat and there’s a spider just chilling in her hood.”
The picture soon went viral on social media and raked around 50,000 likes and 4,000 comments from people horrified just like Olivia’s friends.
Someone commented: “My soul would have left my f***ing body omfg.” Another said: “Would set myself on fire.”
Yet another wrote: “It’s the fact it’s got her trapped in there like Ryan Reynolds in Buried. Nowhere to run. Can’t take the hood down, can’t move, can’t blink, nothing.”
However, Olivia happens to be a brave girl who was not terrified by the huge insect creeping inside her hoodie. She told her followers on the social media: “Feel fine tbh spiders are my friends.”
Olivia is not the only one to have found such an unwanted company at an unexpected time. A year ago, Laree Clarke from Australia returned to her home only to find out a spider as big as a saucepan in her room.
Similarly, Chris Brown from Wiltshire discovered a green-fanged cannibal spider coming out of a wall in his room last September.
