Well, we know most people adore puppies as their pets.
But 13-year-old Savannah Burns is different. Actually, her favorite pet is the Rooster and she would never trade him for anything in this world.
Apparently, the two share a strong bond that is unbreakable. In fact, all her relatives are bewildered by their unusual friendship. Well, as a family, the Burns’ have lived in Atlanta since time immemorial. And one thing they are known for, they rear chickens amongst other domestic animals.
Well, on this particular day, Savannah’s mother brought home a little black rooster.point 180 | But there was something unique about him.point 215 |
Instead of walking like other chicks, he would constantly hop using his legs.point 65 | Additionally, he was blessed with some feathers on his legs.point 116 | Therefore, they decided to name him “Frog the Rooster.point 164 | ” However, the family was far from being surprised by their little friend.point 228 |
Apparently, Frog the Rooster was not interested in staying with other chickens.point 68 | Normally, he would alienate himself and follow the family members in the house.point 135 | Particularly, he developed a liking for Savannah!point 178 | 1
Whenever the Rooster would see Savannah, he would hop and follow her wherever she goes. Whether it is in the kitchen or washroom, you will always find them together. Apparently, their bond of friendship developed and they became like inseparable twins.
Normally, when Savannah goes to school, Rooster is always behind her. And he always makes sure the bus has arrived and picked her up before he finds his way back home. And during the evening the Rooster is always keen. From afar, he can actually, hear the sound of the bus as it approaches. There and then, he runs towards the highway so that he can pick up Savannah on time.
Well, their bond is rare and unique in its own way. But one thing is evident; they will remain best friends for eternity.
