Hundreds of mourners were gathered at the funeral of the teacher who was killed with another woman in an attack before Christmas.
Amy Appleton was the rock for her family, and her pupils came to her funeral in numbers to pay respect to their beloved teacher.
According to reports, Amy’s husband was charged with her murder. Her funeral was packed with all her loved ones.
The funeral service was overflowing, and it is said that more than 100 hundred people were attending the funeral. Many people couldn’t even fit inside the chapel, so they were standing outside.
Amy Appleton, 32 and Sandy Seagrave, 76 were killed on December 22, 2019, is Crawley Down West Sussex. The attack shocked the small community in which they once lived.
According to police reports, Daniel Appleton, 37 has been charged with murdering his wife.
The funeral service was headed by Rev Wim Mauritz at St. Richard’s Chapel. Friends, family, and students of Amy wrote heart-wrenching notes on her funeral flowers.
According to the people close to Amy’s family, the death of their beloved Amy has shocked the entire family.
Everyone just loved Amy as she was the light of everyone’s life. Whether it was friends or her students, everyone just adored Amy for her kindness and generosity. Her passion and enthusiasm were a source of encouragement to her students.
Amy and Sandy’s death was a tragedy, and all that people can do is pray for the well being of the family, so they can cope up with the grief of losing their beloved ones.
Daniel, Amy’s husband, is yet to file a plea for the two murder charges that have been put on him. A provisional trial date has been decided on July 6. All we can wish is peace and justice to both the lost souls.
