A man from Greenville literally stormed a fast food restaurant after he found ‘B***h’ written on his wife’s sandwich.
As soon as Robert Wilson Barnes left the drive-thru of a Jimmy John’s outlet, he noticed the insulting word written on the covering of his wife’s sandwich.
He couldn’t believe that it came from such a reputable restaurant, so he went back to demand clarification for the offensive act.
“My wife took her sandwich out of the bag and we see THIS! Seriously? Oh, not today, not today!” Wilson wrote in a post which later went viral on Facebook.
“I went back to the restaurant, went INSIDE (already fuming), asked to speak to the manager, and then threw the sandwich on the counter. I asked him for an explanation.”
He added: “I pointed at the writing on the sandwich and demanded that he tells me why someone felt the need to write it on my wife’s sandwich.”
Wilson had no idea how baseless his wrath was, as he didn’t know the word ‘Bltch’ was, in fact, the name of the sandwich – BLT with cheese.
The abbreviation was just meant to describe the ingredients, which were bacon, lettuce, and tomato with cheese.
The counterman, who was confused about being furiously confronted by Wilson, said: “Because you ordered a BLT with cheese?”
Wilson, who was extremely enraged just a moment before, couldn’t say something except, “…Oh.”
His post went viral on the internet with many people enjoying the incident. Since the day it was posted, the post has received more than 74,000 shares and over 106,000 reacts on Facebook.
“That’s really funny, you should have told them to write the words not the letters cos when I look at it, I got another word hahaha,” commented a netizen.
“Imagine if this was for real,” said someone.
“Nah that was also subliminal lol there are other ways to write that lol,” wrote another.
“I can see the employees all laughing as whoever wrote this knowing what it looked like,” quipped another.
