The Netflix documentary Tiger King has got quite a response from all over the world.
The unusual story revolves around Joe Exotic, a person passionate about keeping wild animals.
The documentary series has been the inspiration for a number of memes and has even made some stars dress up like the lead fictional character Joe.
Now a Sims player, who is apparently quite a fan of the documentary series, has created all the noticeable characters of the series on her computer.
Kari Nicole Mckendrick released her creation, which she had made on The Sims 4, on Facebook and fans of the series just loved it.
“Ladies and gentlemen….hold onto your murder contracts. I present to you: The Tiger King!” Kari captioned her post.
Kari, who is from Florida, made all the characters from Carole Baskin to Joe Exotic, including both of Joe’s husbands, Travis Maldonado and John Finlay, with incredible attention to detail.
Starting with the lead character of the series, Joe, Kari copied every single detail from his appearance to make it a part of the Sims version.
The character she made has a tiger-patterned shirt on his body, wears a cowboy hat and has the tattoos and piercings Joe had. It even has Joe’s typical mullet.
Kari went so far as to incorporate a hint of eyeliner in the character’s eyes to nail the perfect look.
She also created Joe’s competitor, Carole Baskin, the owner of Big Cat Sanctuary, with the same level of details.
Carole’s character can be seen with the same flowing maxi skirt, long blonde hair and an animal-print top. Kari also gave her the same flower crown as she has in the series.
The gamed did not just stop there. She rejuvenated Joe’s late husband Travis Maldonado and his former husband John Finlay.
John Finlay is shown without a shirt and even has the skewed teeth as he has in the Netflix series. Now that is some serious attention to minor details.
Kari did not just create the characters in The Sims 4, she also wanted to make them play in the game.
After making the characters, she made them play with tigers in the game. She also recreated the three-way marriage of Joe, Travis, and Finlay.
If you have not seen the documentary yet, it is worth giving a shot, especially while you are locked down with nothing to do.
The documentary’s synopsis on Netflix says: “A rivalry between big cat eccentrics takes a dark turn when Joe Exotic, a controversial animal park boss, is caught in a murder-for-hire plot in this limited docu-series where the only thing more dangerous than a big cat is its owner.”
