The pair talked about his life over the past decade and what it was like to be, well, a superstar. After the two talked Garth did a live performance of the classic hit “Aint Goin’ Down (Til’ The Sun Comes Up)”.
The audience, including Ellen herself, were happy with his performance, but Garth had another song up his sleeve. He started to play his new single “Mom” in an emotional, acoustic performance.
The single “Mom” is about a conversation between God and an unborn baby. The unborn baby is nervous about being sent from heaven to earth, but God convinces the baby to go down. “And when God describes what a mom is… it kills me,” Garth says.
