Garth Brooks sent a personal invite with concert tickets to a woman suffering from terminal cancer.
Victoria Frederick, who has terminal colon cancer, received a personal invite with concert tickets from Garth Brooks.
Victoria’s VIP trip to his concert in St. Louis was the most memorable day of her life.
Victoria wrote in a post: “Trisha (Yearwood) sang the battle song for cancer fighters such as me — my tears just flowed,”
In October 2018, Victoria couldn’t attend Garth Brooks’ concert at Notre Dame due to her health.
“I was just coming off of chemo round and it was too cold for me to go,” she told WSBT.
But, her kids attended the concert. Her son, Ean Frederick met Garth Brooks at the concert and Garth Brooks made a video for his mother and asked her to attend his concert in St. Louis in March 2019.
Victoria received very special treatment at his concert.
She even got to meet and hug Garth Brooks. Her husband, Bob, and daughter, Emily also joined her. Emily Frederick wrote on Facebook:
“Dad hates crowds but for this adventure he braved them. When Garth played his favorite song which happens to be Momma’s favorite as well, Dad got up and asked mom to dance. How sweet and precious this moment was.”
I am sure Victoria is never going to forget this special moment.
