A giant wolf dog has become an Internet sensation because of its uncanny resemblance to the Game of Thrones dire wolf.
The giant wolf-dog named Yuki with a DNA mix of 87.5% Gray Wolf, 8.6% Siberian Husky and 3.9% German Shepherd rose to fame after a volunteer at the Shy Wolf Sanctuary in Florida took his picture and shared it online.
Volunteer Brittany Allen shared the picture on Instagram which instantly went viral and people started comparing him with the Game of Thrones dire wolf.
Brittany told Barcroft TV: “I had an Instagram page kind of already developed before Yuki went viral. And it started definitely gaining more popularity as his picture was shared among all different accounts.”
“People have compared Yuki to the dire wolves from Game of Thrones. In fact, that’s a super popular comment that I see all the time on my page.”
Yuki weighs 120lbs and lives at the Shy Wolf Sanctuary in Florida. His previous owners abandoned him because of his wolf-like appearance.
