Meet Chase, who was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer at the age of two.
After going through surgery, six months of chemo, and two months of radiation, Chase miraculously recovered from the disease.
Sadly, though, another bad news was waiting for him.
Two years after being considered cancer-free, the doctors found another tumor.
Although devastated, Chase has been battling as hard as he can against the cancer.
Then, one day, something incredible happened to him at the Apple Store nearby his house.

What happened at the store was so heartwarming that Chase’s mom decided to share her story on Facebook – and it went viral.
The below is an excerpt of what she wrote on Facebook –

“My son Chase was at one of the tables working on his homework while I talked to one of the Apple associates. In the corner of my eye, I noticed an associate named Vicki speaking to Chase and I thought it was so nice she took the time to chat with him.
I did not think much of it but later when I was talking to the other apple associate the manager Jason Greer came up and said ‘excuse me’ at the time I thought he needed to talk to the associate that I was speaking with so I said ‘thank you for your help’ and prepared to leave.”
Then, according to Angel, the manager proceeded to approach her and said that he wanted to talk to her.
“I was caught off guard and as a mother of two I hoped he would not say that my children had touched something they shouldn’t have,” wrote Angel.

But, that wasn’t the reason why the manager wanted to talk to her.
The manager told her that his conversation with Chase left him in awe. When asked what he was doing, Chase apparently told Jason that he’s working on his homework and that he really wants to make it to second grade next year since he already spent a year in the hospital because of his cancer.
Amazed by this little kid’s bravery and optimism, Jason asked Chase’s mom if he could give Chase a present.
Angel wrote, “what they did not know is that Chase is OBSESSED with time, it is one of the ways he copes with the anxiety issue he has from his ‘hospital life.’ It’s his way of knowing what will come next.”
“Jason said that it is stories like Chase’s that make him love his job because they love to make a difference. He asked if he could give Chase something, I was still in shock and said of course. He handed an iPod Nano to Vicki for her to give to Chase. She was still teary eyed as she handed the Nano to Chase.
Chase is super shy so he gently said, ‘thank you.’ What they did not know is that Chase is OBSESSED with time, it is one of the ways he copes with the anxiety issues he has from his ‘hospital life.’ It is his way of knowing what will come next. In addition, he loves music (Queen is his current favorite).”
Apparently, Chase has spent all night checking the time on his iPod and singing to his favorite tune, “We Will Rock You.”

What an incredible act of kindness! I hope Chase wins his battle against a cancer.
