A huge alligator was spotted strolling across a golf course in Florida.
The frightening creature was filmed by Jeff Jones at Valencia Golf and Country Club on Wednesday and immediately sent the internet into a frenzy with its enormous body.
One golfer can be heard saying: “Holy… This guy out for a stroll. Oh, my God!”
According to Florida Fish and Wildlife, there are around 1.3 million alligators living in the state.
“That thing didn’t just survive the meteorite 65 million years ago, it rose up and headed it top corner,” one shocked person wrote.
“Holy s**t … I’ve seen a few gators in my time, but never one that big. His tail alone most weigh 100 pounds,” another commented.
While the exact length of the reptile is still not known, people who watched the video agreed that the creature looks more like a Godzilla than a regular gator.
“Can someone from Florida explain to me why its legs are so long? I thought gators had itty bitty legs,” one asked.
“Wow just incredible to see, Alligators here before we came along and still here when the human race is long gone. Living fossils,” another wrote.
“If I ever witnessed something that big I would just have a heart attack & die,” a third said.
“It doesn’t look real – the size of it and the legs seem far too long. If it is real, though, and you saw it in person, I think you’d die of a heart attack before it got near enough to eat you,” someone else added.
