Star couple Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik have split up after shocking allegations regarding Zayn striking Yolanda Hadid went public.
The couple’s reps have confirmed how they are no longer together in a relationship but they will both continue to co-parent their baby daughter named Khai.
Yolanda Hadid who is the supermodel’s mother came out with jaw-dropping allegations on Thursday where she accused Zayn of hitting her and shoving her into a dresser. Adding how the behavior was unacceptable, she also spoke about considering filing a police report after the act.
“While they are no longer together right now, they are both good parents,” a recent source confirmed to People Magazine on Thursday. “The couple looks forward to co-parenting their baby girl Khai together,” the reps went on to add.
Zayn and Gigi, despite being huge successes in the world of entertainment, tried to keep their relationship far away from the public eye. However, with their immense stardom and popularity, it just wasn’t possible.
As days passed on by, rumors regarding the duo’s troubles kept surfacing on air. Now, this horrifying allegation has seen the end of the couple’s relationship which originally began in 2015, when they both started dating.
The couple welcomed their beautiful daughter named Khai in September of last year, making sure she stayed well away from the camera’s eye. Now, Zayn vows to continue protecting his daughter’s privacy, after the split.
Inside sources believe that the musician potentially gave his followers a hint about the breakup from the supermodel on Thursday, when he took to his social media account on Twitter to address the horrifying allegations made against him by Gigi’s mom Yolanda Hadid.
In his public statement, Zayn referred to the viral incident as a ‘private matter’ that was unnecessarily being made public. In addition, he vowed to continue co-parenting which many people felt was the biggest clue for the duo’s split.
