Being a stepfather is not always easy.
You may love the child to the deepest of your heart but you do not have enough rights over the child and you can never call them your child in the first place.
But only if you are really in love with the child and the child accepts you, you can have a great relationship.

Here is a video of a stepfather who received the best surprise for Christmas and he could not have thought of a better gift.
This beautiful 12 years old girl surprised her stepfather with a question he was dying to hear.
She lost her biological father when she was just 5 years old and for the past 6 years, Jeff has been the father figure in her life.
He has done everything a father would do for her little girl for her stepdaughter and had loved her the same too.
At Christmas, Jeff was surprised by the little girl with a poem only to realize what it was in the end.
He read the beautiful poem the baby girl had written to find out that it is a proposition that asked him to adopt her.
He was thrilled to hear it and said yes.
They were both overwhelmed and then they hugged each other with all the love they had in their hearts for each other.
It is a beautiful moment recorded in a video that you can watch and it is going to melt your heart.
A parent is always a parent even though they are not related by birth, the love comes straight from the heart and there is no greater love than a parent’s love for their child.
