Parents are the life and soul of their kids. No matter what happens the love for a parent of their child can never go away. But this does not mean that a parent always has to be the biological parent.
We have several families in the world who have taken second chances to make a family and had their happily ever after.
So many kids are more in love with their step parent then they can ever be in with their biological parent who has not really been in their life. Some opt to keep the relationship unofficial but some kids decide to make it legal too.
This is what little Alessandra decided for herself. She has been in love with her stepfather, the man who has left no mark at all to prove that he is not her biological father.
He has been there for 7 long years and that is why the 8 years old little girl decided to give him the best gift or maybe ask for the best gift for herself.
Angela, Alessandra’s mother was extremely touched by what her daughter had asked for. Alessandra went to her mother in 2018 and expressed her wish for Leonardo Avila to officially adopt her.
Angela knew that this is one thing her husband would love to hear so she decided to give him a surprise.
She gathered some of her friends to make a set up at Shelby County’s football field. The plan was perfect and then they called the man who was about to get honored.
There was the little girl standing with a message in her hand telling her Papi that he is her forever home and asking him if he would adopt her?
He could not control his feelings and covered his face with a glove while he kept sobbing. He then hugged his little girl and cried a little more.
On the 10th of January, the adoption procedure was completed and then Avila shared his story with the world on Facebook.
