A 17-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy have been arrested and charged for beating a homeless man to death in an alleyway in New Jersey.
According to Camden County Prosecutor Jill Mayer, the teens have been charged with first-degree murder after taking the life of 63-year-old Bobby Hill Jr.
The man’s body was found near the 1100 block of Kaighn Avenue last week.
Hill passed away from blunt force trauma to the head after the teens beat him up to death. During the investigation, surveillance video was found showing the 17-year-old girl and 15-year-old boy entering the alley with the victim.
But minutes later, the teens can be seen leaving the alleyway without the homeless man.
Hill was taken to a local hospital where he passed away from injuries to his head.
Further investigation revealed that the body of the victim was filmed on one of the teen’s phones.
Both teens remain in custody.
Prosecutors are not releasing the teens’ names as they are still minors.
