A shocking video has emerged that shows a South African girl catching a cobra with her bare hands.
The video shows a girl sunbathing near a lake in Robertson Western Cape, South Africa.
Suddenly, a cobra tries to attack the woman while two horrified dogs look on.
The woman catches the cobra with her bare hands and throws it back.
The video left Internet users shocked but few of them pointed out that the video was fake as they could see the shadow of a fishing road.
One user wrote: “You don’t even have to be a snake expert to know this was fake. I’m honestly scared for humanity if people actually saw this and thought it was real…”
Another said: “So fake, they don’t move that fast, snakes don’t move in a straight line. You can see the fishing pole.”
One said: “You can see the shadow from the fishing rod that is moving it. But nice prank had it worked.”
Another wrote: “You can obviously see the fishing pole and no cobra looks like that”.
“Snakes can’t move this fast with their heads up cause they will break their spine bone and the snake would strike before she would catch him. Honestly, I don’t know how could anyone believe this like wtf”, one said.
“You can literally see the shadow of the guy, and that the cobra is fake, I’m not a reptile expert and I always knew this was fake”, another added.
Later, it turned out that it was a prank. Two brothers tried to scare their sister but they failed miserably.
The pranksters told the Daily Mail: “It was a prank on my sister. Yes, it was pulled via fishing rod with fluorocarbon line”.
“My brother and I was [sic] trying to scare my sister but it seems that she was prepared, seeming that I grew up catching snakes along that river since I was just a boy and she would sometimes join me. She did not handle it as we expected her to, very much impressed!”
