A tenth-grader girl apparently asked a teen with Down syndrome to dance after he got rejected by a girl he invited to his school’s homecoming dance.
As soon as the news of their dance circulated, a media house took up the event and turned the night into a memorable one for them.
Kylie Fronius came forward and asked Daniel Rivas if he would join her for the homecoming event after he was rejected.
When interviewed, she said, “I think of people with disability as no different from everyone else.”

Tonya Rivas, the boy’s mom was driven to tears when she was told that a girl is going with her son to the homecoming dance.
She said, “Words are not enough to describe the emotions I’m feeling right now.”
The news house on getting wind of Kylie’s kind-hearted action decided to surprise the duo and other students on the day of the dance. The crew rolled in their vehicle into the school’s driveway and gave an explanation on why they came.
