After her nine-month battle against the disease, Avery Schreiber finally rang the bell at Golisano Children’s Hospital, NBC 2 reported.

Avery’s father, Zachary Schreiber said: “It puts everything in perspective. That’s what she has done for me over the last nine months. All that matters is family and friends and getting to wake up every morning and enjoy that day.”

Little Avery gives inspiration not only to her family but also to other people around her, including her primary caretaker Dr. Edam Salman.

“Kids like Avery, give us that zest to continue to fight because there is hope. We want to give every child that chance,” Salman shared.

“Very difficult for us to go through that but we wouldn’t been able to get through it without the help and support of our family,” she said.

“It was just indescribable to be able to go down the hall and see everybody cheering for her and how happy everybody was that she had completed it,” she expressed.
