A 33-year-old man has been put behind bars with a charge of exploiting the innocence of a child as an 11 years old girl gave birth to his child.
He never denied the DNA evidence but he also claimed that she got pregnant by coming in contact with a cloth he used for masturbating.
Robert Cronin presents his side on the matter saying that he never had any sexual communication with the 11 years old girl. He said that the girl who was known to him became pregnant with his child because used she the cloth he had used for masturbating.
Cronin lives in upstate New York with his fiance and 5 kids. He has been arrested with the charge of sexually assaulting a kid under 13 years and endangering the welfare of the child.
He never denied the DNA evidence of that states clearly that he is the father of the child but he claims that he has never physically had any communication with her.
Police on the other hand also have no proof of them having any physical relationship. All they know about is that the girl was know to Cronin.
The girl gave birth to her child recently and the baby and the girl are now in Child Protective Services, says the police. They said that they were tipped about the case two months ago by a child abuse hotline.
They said that Cronin raped the girl between February and March of 2018.
Cronin said “My world came crashing down when I found out she was pregnant. I knew how would the world take it and no one can ever be ready for the same.”
