A 10-year-old girl, who lost her hearing when she was just 3 years old, is finally able to hear again, thanks to the cochlear implant.
Jaylin from Dallas, Texas, lost her hearing at the age of 3 and didn’t hear the voices of her parents for seven years.
The little girl recently underwent surgery to place the cochlear implant and now, she is able to hear her parents’ voices.
A heartwarming video of the girl heard her mother say ‘I Love You’ for the first time was posted online. The video left everyone in tears.
“Lots of tears were shed but they were happy tears,” Rachelle Renee, Jaylin’s mom, told KDFW.
Jaylin’s dad, Alfredo Garcia, said: “Before she wouldn’t even hear me. She’d have to look straight at me to see what I’m talking about.”
Renee shared the video on her Facebook with the caption: ‘Activation!! words cannot express how happy my heart is right now .

Jaylin is super excited to hear her parents after seven years and looking forward to using the device at school.
