An 11-year-old girl has proven to be brighter than the likes of Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein after scoring the maximum mark on an IQ test.
Anushka Dixit is a brilliant young mind who memorized the periodic table in less than an hour just for the fun of it.
Dixit also totted up 162 points on Mensa’s IQ test, meaning she crossed the ‘genius’ score of 140 points and surpassed Stephen Hawking’s score by two points.
As the girl’s mother, Arti, explained, her daughter has always been exceptional and even started talking at only six months old.
After passing the 11 plus tests, Anushka pleaded with her mother to let her take the Mensa IQ test because she wanted to take on a bigger challenge.
“It was not very difficult, just slightly difficult,” the 11-year-old said, speaking of the 11 plus tests.
“It was only the time pressure that was difficult. One part was 28 questions in four minutes.
“It just boosted my self-confidence after passing the 11 plus and that made me want to sit the Mensa test.
“I got full marks. I was definitely quite shocked at that. I started to cry after the test finished because I thought that I might have got one of the non-verbal questions wrong. I was aiming for 162 but I was still shocked.”
As the girl’s parents, Arti the housewife and Neeraj the enforcement officer, confirmed, their daughter received the results of the test via mail and they couldn’t be any prouder of her achievement.
“My favorite subject is English and I love poetry,” Anushka added.
“When I grow up I would like to become a doctor. If that doesn’t happen I have other professions that I might like to have, for example, I could go into finance.
“I love maths. I like all subjects. There’s no subject at school I don’t like. I memorized the periodic table. There was no real reason. I was just testing what my memory was like.”
