When we go on holiday, we try to take the perfect photograph of all the amazing places we’ve visited.
We’ve seen many couples’ pictures kissing in front of places like the Colosseum and on top of the Empire State Building.
But what if you’re single? Well, Kristiana Kuqi, from Kosovo, find another way of taking a loved-up pic.
She posed with random guys and shared her ‘romantic’ pictures on social media.
The 24-year-old posted pictures on Twitter, the first one was in front of the Eiffel Tower, Paris, with the caption: “I hope this guy I met at the Eiffel Tower and asked for a pic of us kissing so I could pretend I had a romantic time in Paris is doing good.”
She also posted other pictures, from her trip to Rome, with the caption: “I hope this one from Rome is good too <3.”
She also posted one picture in which she is smooching to a firefighter, which read: “And the fireman who responded to a fire at a wedding I was at in Kentucky. Hope he’s good too <3.”
Her opportunism is quite something.
Some people find it strange, but the girl who is a university graduate and lives in Virginia, the United States, says that she has a deep reason to capture these moments.
Speaking to LADbible, Kristiana said: “Well I’m very big on pictures. I lived through genocide in Kosovo, so I never got to have pictures of myself as a kid and the ones we did have were burned in the war.
“I also always wanted romantic pictures in the places I went to.”
She added: “It’s kind of a spur of the moment thing, and I make sure it looks like someone safe. I obviously try to find someone that looks like my type and someone my age.”
“I’ve always gotten a yes,” she said. “And a very happy yes. No one has [ever said no].”
Kristiana has been doing this for a few years now and says some people didn’t like and haven’t taken her photos in a right or positive spirit. But, some women appreciated her and sent some nice messages who have done it too.
She said: “I started doing this during my study abroad in England in 2016. Though there’s been a little negative feedback, everyone is loving it. Women are feeling empowered by it and actually, a few women started doing it themselves and sending me pictures.”
