An 11-year-old girl saved her 6-year-old brother from being kidnapped in Cleveland, Ohio.
A man with a 2-liter plastic bottle of orange soda approached Julianne Moore and her younger brother Hayden when they were playing in the front yard of their home.
He started talking to them but the siblings couldn’t understand what he was saying.
“He started to talk to us, but we really couldn’t figure out what he was saying. It was like gibberish so we really didn’t think much of it,” Julianne told WJW.
The man then grabbed Hayden’s arm and tried to kidnap him.
“When he tried to grab my brother, I knew like this was serious. This was not like any handshake or anything,” Julianne said.
“I just grabbed my brother and went into the backyard because there was no time to panic. You just have to go with it,” she said.
The siblings told their father, Joshua Moore about the incident. The father confronted the man and called the police.
Cleveland police arrested the man and charged him with child abduction. He was later identified as 33-year-old Pedro Luyando.
Julianne’s quick thinking saved her brother from being abducted. She wasted no time and this is why she could save her brother. She is a little Hero!
Julianne said: “My heart dropped because I know that I saved my brother. He would not be here right now.”
