Everyone wants to feel complete when she is with her man.
The act of physical love makes her a woman embrace her female side. But things were different for a woman named Kaylee Moats.
Kaylee belongs to Gilbert, Arizona and is twenty-two years old. Her’s is a peculiar case as she was born with Mayer Rokitansky Küster Hauser syndrome. This means that Kaylee was born without a uterus, cervix or vaginal opening. This meant that she couldn’t have sex with her boyfriend.
Kaylee was ‘Born Different’. Kaylee first realized this when she was eighteen and didn’t get her periods while her 12-year-old sister did. She went to a gynecologist where an ultrasound was done.
This is when she discovered that she did not have a cervix or a uterus and vaginal opening. She was heartbroken when she was told that she wouldn’t be able to carry her own children.
A feeling of disbelief spread across her entire family. They couldn’t really understand how did this happen to their girl.
The fact that Kaylee couldn’t provide grandchildren for her mother made her feel sad. Though things weren’t under their control, they felt awful.
Kaylee feels less of a woman as she can’t really do what other women can. She can’t carry children or have an intimate relationship. Kaylee decided to undergo surgery to create a vaginal opening.
Contrary to the popular belief, this surgery isn’t like a cosmetic one or a gender reassignment one. Instead, it is quite hurtful. The surgery costs fifteen thousand dollars which just increases the debt that she already has on her.
The hard reality is that insurance companies do not cover such defects in their policies. It was quite frustrating and heartbreaking for Kaylee.
When Kaylee started dating her boyfriend Robbie, all she could think of was how to tell him about her condition. She was also worried how Robbie would react to it. They haven’t been able to get intimate with one another but Robbie has been quite supportive.
Kaylee has a sister Amanda and also a group of friends who are ready to be her surrogates.
It is very important to have the support of your loved ones when things are tough.
