Gianessa Wride suffering from Alopecia donned a crazy head-do when her mother decked her for the crazy hair day at school.
Her mother decorated her head with glittery butterflies and flowers which eventually made her the winner.
Back in early 2017 when the Gianessa’s mother was combing her hair found clumps of hair falling off from the seven years old’s scalp. It was later discovered that the girl suffered from autoimmune disease, Alopecia, wherein her hair and eyebrows could never grow.
The family was devastated by the news not because of how she will look but worrying that their daughter might get bullied for her strange looks.
Her mother didn’t want her daughter to feel that she is less beautiful than anyone. Gianessa’s mother brainstormed for ideas to make her look unique and attractive.
The mother-daughter soon found out about the crazy hair day at the school and thought of coming up with something that will create an impactful impression on Gianessa’s schoolmates.
Gianessa’s mother Daniella decided that this is the right time to show the world a disease should not restrict you from living the life on your terms. Gianessa hated scarfs and wigs, and she didn’t like to cover her head from anything.
Hence, Daniella came up with an idea to deck up her head to with sparkly items. She got some glittery stickers from the nearest department store and patiently started sticking it to Gianessa’s head in an attractive manner.
Gianessa totally loved her look and was super confident of meeting her friends that day and flaunting her look. The 7-year-old ended up winning the competition with her quirky and alluring head decoration.
In an interview, Gianessa admitted that at first, she was sad to lose all her hair, but now she has regained her confidence and love her bald look because now she can do things to her head that her friends can never do.
