High School Proms are always special, and when it is the Graduation, it becomes even more special.
However, Skylar Fontaine was excited and upset at the same time. She was excited because it was the prom and she was graduating, but she was upset as her boyfriend wasn’t able to make it to the prom.
Apparently Skylar’s boyfriend Pvt. Gage Moak was on the East Coast, training with the US Marine Corps. Skylar said that she has been with Gage through his entire process of becoming a Marine and this is what makes their bond special.
However, it was heartbreaking when she gets to know that Gage won’t be able to make it to the prom. But she needed someone who could stand in for him. You might be wondering who could have she picked to replace Gage.
Well, that lucky person was none other than Gage’s 2-year-old brother, Clay Jr. Skylar said that she had seen little Marine costumes online somewhere and it would be brilliant if she could manage to convince Clay Jr. to be her prom date.
She asked his grandmother to take some pictures so that she could send it to Gage. Everything came out perfectly; Clay Jr. walked into the prom dressed like a Marine and posed for some adorable photos with Skylar.
She absolutely adores and loves Clay Jr., and it was the best thing to see on the internet after a while. Gage was thrilled to see the photos that were sent to him by Skylar. She said that Gage becomes emotional when it comes to his family, and seeing his little brother with his girlfriend was a treat to his eyes.
The photos posted online got over 200,000 likes and were shared somewhat thousand times.
Gage said that he had a busy training schedule that day and wasn’t able to look at his phone until later in the evening. He was stunned and filled with tears when he saw Skylar with his little brother being dressed as an adorable couple.
