Seven girlfriends have gone viral after deciding to band together to buy a large house where they intend to spend the rest of their lives together.
Speaking of amazing friendship goals, 7 Chinese women are convinced they want to retire early and live together until the end of their lives.
Following their unconventional decision, the friends raised $580,000 and bought a large, modern, 7-bedroom house featuring 700 square meters of living area.
While their plans seemed like a joke at first, things quickly turned out to be serious after one of them spotted the vacant home in the Guangzhou suburbs.
“We [decided we] would get together when we were 60 and live the retired life together,” one of the best friends said in an interview with Yitiao.
As soon as the friends managed to raise enough funds to buy the house, they decided to have the three-story estate transformed into a first-class mansion.
From selectively imported furniture to carefully designed rooms, the women shared their wants and needs so that none of them would feel left out. Due to their passion for tea parties, they even built a gorgeous tea pavilion that is facing the mountains and the green fields surrounding the home.
“We’ll probably cook together, barbecue in the fields, sing and collect food in the village,” the besties revealed in a video, explaining they won’t ever feel bored despite the nearest town being located over an hour away.
“We joke that each of us should practice one skill so that we won’t be lonely and fight with each other 10 years later… Some can cook beautiful food, some know traditional Chinese medicine, some play instruments, and some grow vegetables.”
