Rescued Baby Goats Developed Adorable Bond With A Golden Retriever Who Now Thinks She Is Their Mom

It’s not strange for animals from a certain species developing bonds with those belonging to a different one.

We have seen quite many times how a dog and a horse can be best friends.

But this bond between a dog and two baby goats is probably the most adorable of all.

Loryn, a golden retriever, believes that she is the mum of two rescued baby goats – and she’s been doing all she can to take care of the cute little fellas.

Loryn is a compassionate dog who knows how to spread love and positivity around.

So, when she met two small baby goats that were brought to Loryn’s farm after their mother died, she started caring for them as if they are her own offspring.

Speaking to the Dodo, Loryn’s owner Andrea Holley said of the dog: “She’s around all the farm animals all the time, so she’s seen it all.

“She is truly a mother hen and takes in every baby we have here as her own.”

When Holley adopted the little goats, who arrived at her farm wearing tags of their previous farm on their ears, she didn’t think they would develop a bond with Loryn.

But now, the compassionate dog and the pair of baby goats are just inseparable. They do everything –from eating to sleeping to having fun – together.

“Goats are the most loving, easygoing creatures,” Holley told the Dodo. “They loved Loryn right away. They are together all day, every day.”

Some favorite activities of the baby goats are napping, cuddling, and running after each other.

And whenever they play at the farm, Loryn is there to keep an eye on them to make sure they’re safe at all times.

“Loryn is my right-hand man and always helps corral the babies when we’re outside or round them up while playing inside,” the farm owner said.

“She most definitely thinks they are her babies.”
