US President Joe Biden has recently been slammed by a number of Gold Star families who believe he showed immense disrespect during the dignified transfer of the slain US servicemen.
According to previous records, history proves how Biden hasn’t been in th good books for gold star families for quite some time now. And that particularly includes one such horrifying incident where Biden met up with a Gold Star renowned father in the year 2016, which resulted in a horrific experience.
The fact that the US Presdient found it okay to check his watch during such a moment of grief, alongside family members standing close by had so many people thinking twice about the President’s real agenda.
Now, the families are speaking out against Biden, accusing him of repeating history and showing immense disrespect.
Last Sunday, Biden met up with a number of Gold Star family members in Dover, Delaware. These were the family members of those slain in the recent Kabul attack that killed more than 100 Afghan civilians, alongside 13 servicemen from the US.
This is where Biden took out the time to speak to the families, assuring them of support during this immensely painful period. While all appeared well during that time, the families are now speaking out against the President.
Moreover, they even went about accusing him of continuously bringing up his late son Beau. “He just routinely kept on checking his watch during moments of the dignified transfer for the deceased’s remains,” they complained furiously.
But this is not the first time that the President has been involved in such a controversy. The previous history proves how Biden has similarly treated other members of Gold Star families in such a manner that gives disrespect a whole new name.
“He once told my daughter-in-law that she was just too pretty for something like this to happen to her,” stated Mike Lubelt. “He’s lucky he was surrounded by secret service,” Mike went on to add.
This account was very similar to that made by other Gold Star family members who met Biden recently, proving how it’s not a simple act but a true example of history repeating itself.
