An adorable golden retriever has become an internet sensation thanks to a distinctive marking on the left side of his face.
Meet Enzo Viola from Texas, a loving pooch born with a rare genetic mutation that has left him with an unusual marking on his face.
Enzo’s Instagram page has over 180,000 followers as of his writing. His photos are always flooded with hearts and compliments about his appearance.
One of his owners, Clarisso Castro, told Daily Star: “Enzo has a genetic mutation, his black splotch!
“He’s special – and who doesn’t like to look at dogs. The mutation doesn’t affect any part of him except for his looks.”
Clarisso also said that she and her family fell in love with their pooch the first time they saw him, not only because of his distinctive mark but also because he was “the sweetest and most playful puppy.”
“We spend a lot of time playing fetch with him in the back yard or playing with one of his toys inside,” she went on.
“There’s so much to enjoy spending time with him, one of my favourite things is that he often falls asleep while tugging on a toy, he’ll just slowly lay down and rest with the toy in his mouth.”
One fan wrote: “Yes i am happier now because of you, sweet fuzzy nugget.”
Another commented: “Your Golden is so beautiful! I have my first girl Lola and she’s my world. They are the best dogs.”
