His owner, Liz Anderson, can always tell when her 1-year-old pooch named Captain is happy whenever he takes his tiger.

The golden retriever has been obsessed with his toy since he was just a puppy.

Speaking to The Dodo, Liz said: “He had a white tiger that was our daughter’s and he claimed it as his own.

“He destroyed it, of course, but my daughter had this orange tiger, and he kept stealing it — so it’s his now.

“He brings it everywhere! He always picks it up when he gets excited and wiggles his little butt.

“It’s his bestie.”

When the family moved to Denver, Captain made sure that his beloved stuffed tiger also came along with them.

Anderson could not wait for the pooch to experience the snow in Colorado and she was not disappointed when the snow started to fall.

Captain couldn’t believe his eyes when fluffy snowflakes drifted down into their yard.

“He kinda just looked around at it and, of course, tried to eat a bit of it,” Anderson shared. “But he just watched. He was so fascinated.”

Anderson was in for another surprise when Captain went inside the house to grab his stuffed toy. He then rushed outside to share the special experience with his buddy.

“(He) grabbed his tiger and ran back out and was galloping about,” Anderson shared.

“He has really made this family complete,” she added. “He is such a light and is always there for everyone. We have a son that is autistic, and he always goes to him to give him comfort. He’s just the best boy we could have ever hoped for.”
