Google is the widest used network in the world and let’s be honest, without Google and its applications; life would become a lot tough.
Google navigations, YouTube, Google search, etc, there are just so many features of it that have become a part of our lives. But it looks like the same features have been restricted by Google for the new Huawei phones.
The Huawei phones work on Android Operating Systems just like Samsung and LG phones but the only difference now will be that these phones will lack access to some of Google’s applications like YouTube and Gmail.
Now you must be wondering what is the reason behind it is? Well, Trump government restricted American companies to work with Chinese tech companies until they have the license.
According to reports, the change has only been made on the new models coming out and it is not going to affect the phones that are already running the apps.
The old phones already using the apps will be getting the updates of the apps but the same will not be available on the new handsets.
A spokesperson from Google said that the users who are already using their services will continue enjoying the services of Google play and the Google play security but the same will not be available for the new users.
The move implies that when Google will launch its new Android Operating System later this year, the system will not be able to run on Huawei devices. The same will go for YouTube too.
This means the operating system the Huawei users will have now is a public system called Android Open Source Project. This system will not have any Google applications.
Well, this is going to make the life of Huawei users a lot difficult.
