Gordon Ramsay responded to his Cornwall neighbors’ complaint against him on a live Insta video.
Fifty-three-year-old Gordon showed his response to his neighbors’ not being happy about him staying in quarantine due to COVID-19 at his second home in Cornwall.
Gordon showed up live on social media to make a burger and announced that he’d donate $12,500 to NHS charities if he failed to make the dish within 10 minutes.
While one of his daughters filmed the whole thing on a smartphone camera, the quick-tempered cook tried the best he could to make the burger and sadly couldn’t succeed to make it within the stipulated time.
He then acknowledged in front of his fans on the social media that he had already donated the money to the cause, holding up a burger that looked quite yummy.
While showing off his creation to his followers, Gordon said: “I’m not going to eat this. I’m going to give it to the neighbors next door. Hopefully, that might put a smile on their face.”
Next up in the video, the star can be seen running out of the kitchen and presumably towards his neighbors’ house while shouting at the top of his lungs: “Love thy neighbor!”
His daughter can be heard giggling from behind the camera.
The locals of the area are enraged on Gordon for moving to his $6 million second home in the country following the government’s announcement of strict rules for suppressing the propagation of COVID-19.
A report from the last week suggested that a resident of Cornwall had threatened Gordon to report him to the police.
It can still be seen that the locals are not happy about Gordon moving to Cornwall and they are taking to Insta and Twitter to show their resentment against Gordon’s stay there.
One social media user even labeled Gordon to be “disgusting” and claimed that he was “flouting government rules.”
The enraged social media user said: “Don’t you realize that by doing that you’ve possibly brought the virus with you and because Cornwall is not your main residence if you and your family get sick you will place yet more strain on an already fragile infrastructure.
“I’m reporting you to the police. What you’ve done is against the law and I hope they force you back to London.”
A second social media user wrote in quite objectionable words: “P**s off out of Cornwall, you’re not wanted.”
Another expressed their feelings, saying: “Cornwall MPs have specifically asked for people with a second home not to do this.
“You might be rich and famous but you’re not special and you’re setting a bad example! Really disappointing.”
These angry views were expressed after a report from The Sun explained how some people from Polzeath Beach were targeting Gordon for moving into Cornwall with his family despite the guidelines given by the government that clearly prohibited doing so.
