When Gordon Ramsey went on a 22-mile bike ride from his second home where he and his family are hunkered down during the coronavirus lockdown, he risked irking his neighbors with that act.

But that didn’t faze the celebrity chef as he shared another post on Instagram on April 26 after completing another lengthy cycle route.

After finishing his ride, the 53-year-old chef shared a pic of him posing with his bike while wearing red and black Lycra. With him in the pic was his one-year-old son Oscar who was the spitting image of his dad, including a look that didn’t look too impressed.

Gordon’s caption went: “Sunday funday 26.2 miles DONE!

“Thinking about all those charities missing out on today’s London marathon, trust me we will make up for in October especially with my little mascot @oscarjramsay @huubdesign #gosh #gordonandtanaramsayfoundation #returnstronger.”

The TV personality moved into his £4.4 million second home in the West Country as the coronavirus pandemic was ramping up, a move that irked his Cornish neighbors.

A bike ride last weekend risked further upsetting the nearby residents especially after he took a picture.

He captioned the image: “What a bike ride today, hills galore and some stunning country side thank you @huubdesign for the best gear and of course the ferrari of bikes @iamspecialized @iamspecialized_road Ps Deano I’m going to kick your a**e in the next tri [sic]”

Ramsey then went on to share clips that overlooked Towan Beach in Newquay where he stopped for a rest before continuing the 11 miles back home.

One annoyed follower commented: “Stay at home,” with another adding, “hope you only went for 1 hour.”

To which someone responded, “course not! Apparently it doesn’t apply to everyone,” and the commenter quipped back, “yeah celebrity’s are better than us so they can do what they want.”

Another user jokingly replied: “make sure you don’t get caught by the neighbors.”

The UK government’s advice amid the lockdown is to “stay local and use open spaces near to your home where possible – do not travel unnecessarily.”

Additional advice also says to “make use of your garden for exercise and fresh air.”

Unlike his Hell’s Kitchen tirades, however, Ramsey chose to instead make a thinly-veiled dig at those who were criticizing his move into the neighborhood by profusely praising a kindly neighbor.

A delivery of fresh asparagus was left at his doorstep by a local with a note that read: “A little gift from the fields across your house.”

“Now what a lovely, beautiful, generous little gift,” he gushed. “C’mon, seriously, that’s literally growing in the back of my garden. Now that’s what I call love thy neighbor, see?

“That’s how you look after each other across these difficult times. There you go. I’m sure one local will whinge about the asparagus!”
